Copenhagen Aquarium

One last final Copenhagen post despite it being so long since I was even there, but I just rediscovered these photos lurking around in iPhoto so thought I'd share! This was one of my last days in Denmark, and we went to the National Aquarium, which was recently built and it was absolutely fantastic in architecture and design, despite a few tanks that did seem a little bit too small.

The aquarium was actually split up into loads of different areas, from reefs, to swamps, caves and even a little rainforest section with piranhas and tropical birds. Outside there were also sea otters and also puffins, who all happened to be hiding the whole time I was near the enclosure! Very sad.

All displays were in a range of languages, and although it wasn't that informative about a lot of the fish, there was a lot of kid stuff to keep the little ones (of which there were many) entertained. I can't remember exact figures, but there was a hell of a lot of fish within the one building.

Posing in the rainforest bit near the end of the day when it was super empty so I didn't feel too judged by people.

Loved this skirt from the moment I saw it in the Topshop sale back at christmas I knew that it needed a place in my wardrobe. I'd never looked at maxi skirts much, as I've always been wary of anything below mini skirts and shorts. However, I think this skirt just flows so nicely and it's an actual joy to wear, apart from turning into a massive pain when there's any sign of wind. This is quite an old outfit, as you can see it was before my hair got attacked by the pinks and purples. Unfortunately the weather isn't that nice anymore, typical.

Found this lovely little square in Fitzrovia not too far from my halls and it was so quiet so I made Luke take loads of photos so I could show off some of my favourite items of clothing. Only looking back now do I realise wearing the scarf and the jumper looks a little odd, but whatevs man that jumper was £5 and I've seen ones identical in Topshop. It's always worth scouring markets as there normally is something great like this buried amongst all the "I <3 Kush" hats.

Hello!! Welcome to my first post of 2015 and I'm so excited because it's my first post focused mainly on fashion/personal style and that was what my main inspiration to start this blog in the first place as I've been into like fashion in general for several years (eg fashion mags and thinking ooh that's nice but never actually being able to afford stuff until I started working last year). Relatively, I've only been into make up and beauty within the last couple of months/half a year max really! Hence why my collection is so small and I'm still pretty diabolically bad at applying make up to myself!

Anyway this outfit was for a casual day out shopping with Luke to Truro, but it was basically a time for me to show off this gorgeous faux fur coat from Miss Selfridge that I bought in the Boxing Day sales. It reminds me of snow leopards and it's long and so so soft ahh it's gorgeous. I've been looking for a fur coat for so long and this really was the most beautiful thing ever.  This is a more casual look for it, as I wanted to make sure that I could wear it casually and yeah I think it works really well?? Well I think so anyway! Pls let me know what you think!!
